Collect or receive the work

Given Catalonia's compact geography, many buyers collect the work in person. If you prefer shipping, the artist will inform you of the available options.

Eclipsi26.com acts exclusively as a digital showcase. We do not manage any financial transaction between artist and buyer. Payment, shipping and any dispute conditions are agreed directly between artist and buyer. Specialist art shipping services with insurance exist (such as MBE SafeValue Art), though not all artists use them. Eclipsi26.com does not intervene in or guarantee any aspect of the transaction.

🛒 For buyers
What kind of works can I find in the Museum?
Original physical works: painting (watercolour, acrylic, oil, gouache), fine art photography in numbered and signed editions, illustration on cotton paper and small-format handcrafted ceramics. All inspired by the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026. No unsigned digital prints or reproductions.
How do I contact the artist?
Press the "I'm interested" button on the work you like and fill in the form. Once submitted, you will immediately receive the artist's direct contact details so you can discuss all the details with them directly.
How is payment handled?
Payment is agreed directly between you and the artist. Eclipsi26.com does not intervene in any financial transaction. The artist will offer the payment conditions they see fit — bank transfer, PayPal, Bizum or other methods agreed between the parties.
Can I collect the work in person?
Yes, and it is the most common option given Catalonia's compact geography. When you contact the artist you can agree on a place and time for collection. If you prefer shipping, the artist will inform you of the available options.
What if the work arrives damaged?
Any issue with the condition of the work is handled directly between you and the artist, according to the conditions you have agreed. Some artists use specialist art shipping with insurance; ask the artist before confirming shipping arrangements.
Can I use the image of the work I buy?
You are purchasing the physical object, not the image rights. The artist retains all copyright and image rights. For any use of the image beyond personal use, you must obtain the artist's express authorisation.
🎨 For artists
What kind of work can I exhibit?
Painting (watercolour, acrylic, oil, gouache), fine art photography in numbered editions, illustration on cotton paper and small-format ceramics. The work must be physical, original and inspired by the total solar eclipse of 12 August 2026 in Catalonia.
How much does it cost to exhibit in the Museum?
The Museum operates on a three-tier exhibition fee system based on the number of works and visibility level desired. We do not charge commission on sales — the full price of your work is yours. See the options in the artists section.
Do I give up the rights to my work by exhibiting here?
No. You retain 100% of the copyright and image rights to your work. Eclipsi26.com holds only an exhibition licence on the platform for the purpose of selling that specific piece. You can request the removal of your work at any time.
How are the images of my work protected?
Images are published at reduced resolution — insufficient for quality printing — and with an integrated watermark. This discourages unauthorised use without compromising the visual experience for potential buyers.
What about the artist video?
If you send us a video introducing your work or creative process (filmed on a phone is fine), we edit it, upload it to the Eclipsi2026 YouTube channel and embed it alongside your Museum listing. Optional but highly recommended — buyers connect much more with work when they know the story and person behind it.
How long can I exhibit?
Guaranteed visibility runs until 31 December 2026. We accept both pre-eclipse work and post-eclipse work (created from the experience of living through 12 August). The Museum will remain as a permanent historical archive beyond that date.
