221 municipalities under the path of totality.
135 municipalities with suitable observation and a clear west horizon at ~5°

The 221 municipalities of Catalonia under the path of totality, according to official IGN / Observatorio Astronómico Nacional data. But note: being in the path doesn't guarantee you can observe. Since the Sun will be less than 5° above the horizon, the terrain blocks observation in many cases. According to the IEEC visibility study, only 135 are suitable for observation, 28 partial and 58 not suitable. Check the Observation column for each municipality.

The guide includes the observation verdict for each one: 135 suitable, 28 partial and 58 not suitable according to the IEEC visibility study — because being in the path doesn't guarantee you can observe the eclipse.
